Why do other shelving products fail within a short lifetime?  Below are common reasons why ClosetMaid outlasts other shelving methods.

  • Other products do not use vinyl coating.  Eventually, paint will be scratched from objects being placed on the shelving.
  • Other products are flimsy because of their design.   ClosetMaid's 1" Front Lip prevents most of the bending between supports.
  • Wood shelving collects mildew and often rots away and becomes less strong.
  • Other methods of shelving often do not install wall anchors properly and they eventually pull away from the wall.
