Why choose Duradek? Why not go with that product from the local building supply? Or this thing or that?  These are questions many people ask themselves.  Well, we've got the answer.

In 1974 when Duradek was designed to take the heavy rains of the west coast, its tough laminated PVC vinyl sheeting has proven itself to last longer in different weather conditions than any other type of waterproofing.

Paint, concrete, and liquid coatings are a thing of the past!  Duradek Vinyl Waterproofing is rapidly replacing other systems because it covers any solid surface and has flexibility to accommodate seasonal and temperature changes in all regions of North America.

Now, lets not confuse Duradek with other types of vinyls.  There is only one Duradek.  Don't be fooled by the cheap, low-quality imitations and substitutes.  There are many significant differences between Duradek and other vinyls.

Remember, when choosing a vinyl waterproofing system, check it out first! BEFORE purchasing any vinyl, ask questions about:

  • The vinyl content (measured in mils thickness)
  • Ease of cleaning
  • Warranty of the product
  • Seams (glued or heat welded)
  • Mechanical perimeter finish (to prevent curling)
  • Expected life of product (in years)
  • Backing (fuzzy back or cloth fabric) for stability
  • Customer service
